John Peterson was instrumental in establishing the Wheeling High School Booster Club. Through John’s leadership, the Wildcat Spur Club became a highly visible and effective organization. In John’s time with the Spur Club, he helped raise funds to re-light the stadium, build a weight room, and get new scoreboards for the stadium, gymnasium, field house and pool. John spent 15 years as an active member of the Wildcat Spur Club.
