George Sianis has been one of the most supportive and involved parents in the history of Wheeling High School. As a parent volunteer George was the face of WHS. A lifetime member of the Wheeling Spur Club, our athletic booster organization, George served as the president for three years. He was also very involved in the marching band and orchestra parent groups, and helped coordinate summer athletic activities. During his time serving Wheeling, George never failed to attend an event, and he did whatever he could to promote Wheeling High School. George was instrumental in increasing participation in our booster club and spearheaded numerous fundraising campaigns to help our programs. Although his children graduated years ago, George still supports the school financially and by being present at events. When people think of Wheeling High School and positive support, they think of George Sianis.
